ISI invites applications from Indian Nationals for the positions of Visiting Scientist, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in the subjects mentioned below, for its newly opened centre at Tezpur, Assam and Chennai, Centre in Tamil Nadu:

• Visiting Scientist:
  
• Qualification: Ph.D. degree in any of the relevant subjects.
• Age: Preferably below 32 years
• Pay: Rs. 35000-40000 pm + HRA
• Assistant Professor:
  
• Qualification:
  
• Ph.D. Degree in any of the relevant subjects and consistently strong academic record throughout;
• 3 years' Post-Doctoral Research and/ or teaching experience (relaxable in exceptional cases)
• Age: Preferably below 35 years
• Pay: PB-3 + GP Rs. 8000 + allowances. After completion of 3 years' service in PB-3 they will be place in PB-4 + GP Rs. 9000
• Associate Professor/ Professor
• Qualification:
  
• Ph.D. degree in any of the relevant subjects and consistently strong academic record throughout;
• 6 years' Research and/ or teaching experience for associate professor and 12 years' for professor (relaxable in exceptional cases)
• Pay: PB-4 + GP Rs. 9500 + Allowances for Associate Professors. PB-4 + GP Rs. 10500 + Allowances for Professors.
• Last Date: 30 days from 17.11.2010 (date of publication) i.e. up to 16.12.2010
